“You never truly understand how short, yet undeniably incredible 24 hours can be until you’ve experienced your wedding day. What you make of those hours, though, is entirely up to you. For Matthew and I, we had very different starts to the day — he was fairly calm and laid back while I was a stressed out sponge trying to soak every bit of it in while also double, triple, and quadruple checking that nothing was forgotten. As a result, I had barely slept the night before in eager anticipation to see how all my years of dreaming and months of meticulous planning would come together for our perfect day. From the moment I saw him standing on the dock I could feel my anxiety melt away. I’d always known I wanted to marry Matthew, and as soon as we laid eyes on each other this beautiful moment of peace reminded me that nothing else mattered because the life we’d dreamt of since we were teenagers was just moments away. We entered the ceremony thinking it would be a breeze since we already had our first look, but during the ceremony neither of us could hold back our tears. The amazing energy, love, and support that filled the air was pure magic. With stunningly curated floral and decor details along with having all of our favorite people gathered in celebration of our union, the experience was absolutely priceless. After that, the rest was history– we enjoyed the careful selections of our open bar and catering menu, then sang and danced our hearts out until our perfect day came to an end.
