“Adam and I matched on Bumble in 2021. After a few weeks of non-stop texting, we finally set up our first date. We met at a small cocktail bar in downtown Denver. Adam walked into the bar a little after I did. He scanned the bar for a moment before our eyes locked. The host walked up and asked how he could help him find a seat. Adam didn’t look away from me as he gently pointed a shaking hand towards my table and said ‘I’m with her.’ We both felt at home with each other instantly. Just a short 18 months later we were head over heels and ring shopping for my engagement ring. In those first 18 months of dating, we went to over 10 weddings together. So it’s fair to say, by the time it was our turn to plan, we had a clear vision of what we hoped our wedding could be. Set in the Denver Botanic Gardens, Adam and I wanted to create an elegant, yet whimsical, day. With the support of our incredible wedding planner, SeaAnna Gibson from Curate, and our amazing vendors, our wedding day was the perfect embodiment of a late-summer garden party. Diamond Empire Band helped to get the party started and kept it going all night long – the dance floor was packed! Adam and I treasure our community and wanted everyone in attendance to feel just as at home with us as we did with each other on that first date. We welcomed our guests with welcome champagne, had a guest wellness station complete with monogrammed water bottles, fans, and parasols. At the reception, each guest had a hand written thank you note from Adam and I at their seat. We wanted to go the extra mile to ensure that everyone there knew how deeply we loved and appreciated them. Our day was everything we could have hoped for and more. We can’t wait to see where our journey takes us next!”
