“Our story began in Halifax, Nova Scotia right at the start of COVID (March 2020), where we were both living at the time. A mutual friend, Maddie, had tried to set us up before, but we never managed to meet in person. Eventually, we started chatting on Instagram, and from that moment on, we haven’t gone a single day without talking! In November 2020, Nick, who is originally from Prince Edward Island, moved to Calgary for a new job. Alison, being a Calgary local, joined him shortly after. Over the past four and a half years, we’ve built an incredible life together— buying our first home, traveling the world, and creating so many unforgettable memories along the way. In August 2024, Nick proposed in the most beautiful spot: Canmore, Alberta with the help of Maddie! Now, we’re so excited to start this next chapter of our lives together!”
