“Dylan and I met on the very first day of college at freshman orientation – we were in the same group with our moms and I remember telling my mom after seeing him ‘if this is what college is going to be like – I’m going to be just fine, ha ha ha!’ We were friends and then started dating a few years later and were pretty much inseparable after our very first date. We moved in together after three months of dating, got our golden retriever Murphy, and the rest is pretty much history!! We moved to Montana in 2020 after absolutely falling in love with the mountains and the peaceful energy of the state. After having multiple venues cancel and change our larger wedding plans, we decided to have a micro-wedding of just 22 guests at Sage Lodge. It turned out to be the absolute best decision and thing we could have done because the whole wedding felt like our dream day and weekend with only our very closest and most special people. We look back on our wedding weekend as truly the best weekend of our lives and are so glad we did something that felt right to us for our big day. It was small, intimate, & truly magical.”
