“Alexandria and Christian met in New York City in the summer of 2017. Six years later, after two moves, including one across the country, adopting two beautiful babies (kittens), Juniper and Figaro, and purchasing their first home together. Christian took Alexandria to a fancy dinner at Hell’s Kitchen and to see her favorite artist in concert, Lindsey Sterling. Little did Alexandria know, when they both got home, she opened the door to their entire home covered in red roses and candles, he got down on one knee and proposed, and of course, she said yes! He wanted to ask her in their safe space, and the home they have built together. He used both of their favorite shows, How I Met Your Mother and Friends, as inspiration. He could not have done a better job! From the beginning of planning, Alexandria and Christian knew they wanted to keep their wedding intimate and cozy just like the fall season they chose to have it in. To achieve this much desired vibe, they escaped the bustling streets of New York City and found the perfect setting within Los Poblanos Inn and Historic Farm located in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, New Mexico. Set among 25 acres of lavender fields, Los Poblanos is the perfect location to unwind and relax. In return, their wedding put special emphasis on enjoying the little moments with family keeping a vibe that was warm, romantic and full of love. Leaning into the fall season their colors were terracotta, olive green, and creme.”
