“Inspired by the rustic hills of the French countryside, this picturesque hilltop served as a romantic and colorful reception of whimsical pinks and Marseille blues. Overlooking the Owyhee Valley in Wilder in Idaho, the layers of decadent patterns and floral designs embody a perfect spring afternoon in Marseille. Lush pinks and orange florals are the perfect contrast to the blue hues of the tablescape. Rustic white accents of the wicker chargers and European design of the flatware compliment the flirty pink taper candles and crystal glassware. This dress is the pretty combination of flirtatious and high fashion. With layers of floral texture and tulle, a lace-up bodice, and detachable puff sleeves, it has a graceful elegance and perfect playfulness. Our tips to pull off this look: when layering different textures, don’t be afraid to mix the patterns! Be sure to stay in the same color palette, just decide which element will be bolder. In this shoot, we chose a bold blue European pattern for the plates, to pop on top of a fainter blue tablecloth and separated the two with a soft white wicker charger. We added crystal glassware and votives to elevate the rustic look with a touch of elegance.”
