“Embarking on their journey over three years ago in the bathroom line at Liar’s Saloon in Montauk, New York, Paul and Caroline’s story is a tale of serendipity. Despite a chance encounter and a flirtatious exchange, life led them on separate paths – Paul to the sunshine of Santa Monica, while Caroline remained amidst the skyscrapers of Manhattan. However, in September 2022, Caroline, seeking a change and new experiences, found herself settling just blocks away from Paul in Santa Monica. A chance twist of fate paved the way for the rediscovery of their connection. Paul was Caroline’s first and last date in Santa Monica! In November 2023, Paul orchestrated the perfect proposal. Hidden beneath the guise of a work dinner at what Caroline thought was a colleague’s house, Paul’s heartfelt proposal took place at a weekend rental arranged by his parents. Some family and close friends all flew in for the event and it was a weekend filled with lots of happy tears and love. This mix of emotions – from genuine surprise to heartwarming joy – marked the inception of their journey toward a lifetime together. Looking ahead, Caroline and Paul have chosen Park City, Utah, as the backdrop for their wedding – a place that holds a special place in their hearts. To showcase their engagement, they wanted to capture the authenticity of their connection (including their son aka their French bulldog, Louie) and their shared love for Park City.”
