Heartfelt Colorado Engagements with Two Beautiful Horses

October 27, 2024 , BY: Amy

Steamboat Springs really showed off and I’m forever obsessed with this session. We started the session with the threat of a crazy storm rolling in. We decided to proceed regardless and I’m so glad we did. It was so fun capturing Mathew and Zak, they are an absolute dream to capture. The wind was wild and it rained 90% of our session but did it not make the most amazing scenery?! Zoom in and see the drops in many of the photos. The horses were such troopers and loved the opportunity to graze while we let them do their thing. Even though no, we don’t condone smoking, we decided it fit the vibe for this session and oh my gosh, I’m so glad we took that direction. They are some of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken and I can’t wait to share so many more of how we captured this moment. The sunset with the rain, the rainbow, and the absolute hue was very much true to color and so dramatic! ⁣
