“This session is one of my favorites that I’ve done in a long time. These two were so adorable and IN LOVE. Capturing their romance was easy when you could feel the chemistry just being near them. After this session was over we had a funny evening. The location where we took these photos is on a ranch in Big Horn, about 15 min away from the next small town. Hannah and Murray picked me up and I rode out to the ranch with them so when the session was over, they drove me back to my vehicle. When I got to my car, I said my goodbyes and handed them their Polaroids to take home from the session. I got in my car and realized.. crap.. my keys are not there. I flagged them down before they drove off and they scoured their truck thinking maybe my keys dropped under my seat or on the floor somewhere while we were driving. The keys were lost, nowhere to be found. We decided to head back out to the ranch (even though nightfall was upon us) and try to find my keys. As you can see in these photos.. it was a lot of tall grass, wildflowers, and rolling hills. My keys could have fallen out of my camera bag anywhere at that point. These two love birds were amazing. They split up and took flashlights and we all spent a good chunk of time searching for my keys. All of us straining our eyes in the dark to hopefully that rainbow-colored lanyard. After about 20 minutes I gave us all permission to go home. These two would have stayed out there all night looking for my keys if I let them, that’s just who they are. They’re down to earth, give the shirt off their back, work until the sun goes down, and longer if needed, type people. The people you could count on in a bad situation. I reassured them it was no big deal. I would have a friend come get me, get a spare key from my husband, and get my car later, no big deal. So we set off back down to town once again, still no keys in sight. I thanked them a hundred times for being so awesome and driving back to help me look and called a friend for a ride. I was sitting in my car waiting for my friend to come pick me up when BOOM I found the keys. They had been in my camera bag THE ENTIRE TIME. I just know I couldn’t find them before because I was so flustered and once I felt calm, the situation under control (I had a ride), I felt at ease and my brain worked again. I immediately texted Hannah and Murray to let them know and we shared an exchange of ‘hahaha’ texts along with laughing emojis. Short story long, I feel so lucky to have met these two and share a hilarious memory with them. They are the meaning of ‘Wyoming’ embodied into humans. They don’t get upset over much, they work hard, and they are there when you need them.”
