“Brittney and Chandler grew up together in Brooks, Alberta. And when they say they grew up together they truly mean it. The two of them met during early childhood when they played hockey together, and started dating when they were only in the ninth grade. They both grew up on small town rinks: each playing the sport competitively and spending all that added time there watching on another’s games. Hockey was their common ground and the foundation of their early relationship. In later years Brittney had to move to Calgary for university and then Edmonton for her practicum – and Chandler followed her every step of the way. No matter where the two have ended up however, they are constantly drawn back home and the rink. Shooting a couples session on the ice was the perfect way to mark their first year of marriage and their relationship. The whole session was so casual and personal, but chic and editorial.”
