“One fateful evening Kyle saw an Insta story of me shoving pizza in my mouth and he was instantly love struck. At the time, Kyle lived in Thousand Oaks and I was living in San Diego and had become friends with some of Kyle’s friends that he met in college. His friend Ryan worked his match making magic and I was shown a picture of Kyle in a green wig on Ryans shoulders(I then too was immediately love struck), and so Ryan texted Kyle something like: ‘Bro she’s into you,”’ which led to Kyle playing it completely cool and texting me ‘I love you…’. After our first date and many trips to San Diego Kyle finally moved. 4 1/2 years later with a proposal surrounded by wine and best friends in Temecula, our dream wedding in Idaho where Hannah is from, two cats, moving cities, and a baby on the way, Shore Lodge will always hold a special place in our hearts. Our wedding brought us so much happiness, laughter, tears and a lot of dancing. Our goal for our wedding was for us to live in the moment and for our guests to have a blast, ending the night with sparklers, jumping in the lake and continuing dancing soaking wet was the cherry on top of an unforgettable day. Using a childhood photo for first look with my dad, gifting Kyle initial cufflinks for groomsmen and close friend that passed before the wedding so they could be with Kyle throughout the day, live wedding painter painting our first kiss, reading our own vows, a petal toss, private boat ride after the ceremony to spend time together and shove our face with apps, entrance to dinner with guests waving their napkins, champagne pour, Kyle taking his shirt off during the first dance, sparkler exit, and jumping in the lake were a our favorite things of the day.”
