“We met 7+ years ago on Tinder after we had both just moved to Orlando, Florida. We were both looking to have fun as Robyn was moving again in six months to Los Angeles for work, and Lukas was planning on a move to New York City. Despite that, we instantly bonded and by our third date, our future best man was telling Lukas he might as well delete Tinder. For the next 6 months, we went away together every weekend we could, including a trip to Cuba, lots of boat weekends, and camping! These weekends together made us forget that Robyn was moving and made us realize how special our time together was. A month after Robyn moved to Los Angeles, we met up on the east coast where after getting snowed in together for a couple of days, Lukas finally said, ‘I love you’. In typical Lukas’ style, he picked the most inconvenient time to say it, as Robyn was boarding a flight and at a time when he had just started studying for his finance professional exams. To cut to the good part, a few months later, Lukas visited Robyn in California. After a perfectly planned weekend of wine tasting, hiking, beach days and Robyn introducing Lukas to every guy she knew in Los Angeles that he could befriend, Lukas decided it was time to decide to move to Los Angeles instead of New York City. Lukas packed up his car with his studying chair and drove to La La Land with Robyn riding (sleeping) shotgun. Since that exciting cross-country move, we have made a beautiful life in Los Angles together in our 1907 Bungalow with our outdoor cat, Fetty.”
