“Sam’s proposal to Elisa was a complete surprise. They were in a small town where Elisa’s family is from, just outside of Naples, Italy visiting her 86 year old Nonna. On the last day of visiting with her Nonna, Sam took Elisa out to where her grandfather proposed to her grandmother, and whilst pretending to collect chestnuts, got on one knee. Shortly after, the whole little village came over to her Nonna’s house with Prosecco and all sorts of Italian dishes to celebrate. It was a magical trip that Elisa will never forget. Santa Fe ended up being the perfect destination for Elisa & Sam’s magical weekend, with nearly 200 of their closest family and friends flying in to celebrate their love. The bride’s grandmother, Nonna Rosa, was married on 9.9.1954. The bride’s mother, Maria, was married on 9.9.2000 and on 9.9.2023, 23 years later to the exact day, the bride wore her mom’s same handmade wedding dress.”
