Welcome to our family-owned piece of Colorado heaven. Nestled at the base of Mount Princeton, just ten minutes from downtown Buena Vista, we invite you to host a wedding day that feels entirely like home.
Your guests will walk a winding path through a freestanding wooden doorway to find an outdoor ceremony meadow with custom wooden benches framing the majestic 14ers. For your reception, our gorgeous 5,000-square-foot climate-controlled barn features stunning high ceilings, modern amenities, and massive windows. Just outside, guests can mingle on a string-lit concrete patio complete with an area for lawn games, seating, cozy gas fire pits, and Bar Service Vendor, Mountain Sips. It’s the perfect location for watching Colorado’s iconic pink-and-purple mountain sunsets or to share your first dance.
We believe planning your wedding should be stress-free, which is why we proudly offer the freedom to choose your own vendors. To keep budgets where you want them, bring in your favorite local food trucks or design a gourmet plated dinner. Just supply your own alcohol and our only required vendor, Mountain Sips, will take care of your drink services. Welcoming up to 160 guests plus your fur babies, a completely flexible, exceptionally beautiful mountain wedding experience awaits you at The Barn at Sunset Ranch.

The Barn at Sunset Ranch offers a special promotional rate for weekday weddings on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday – $8,500
Availability: Open seasonally
Capacity: Up to 160 guests + option for more with outdoor tent
Curfews: Music lowered by 10:30pm to less than 50 decibels and everyone must be off site by 12:00am
Operations: One event per day

How did the venue become a wedding venue?
Jim and Jayme Greenfield’s passion to create The Barn at Sunset came from planning their own childrens’ weddings and celebrations for friends and family. Just like you, they spent countless hours searching for the perfect venue with the amenities they needed – and within their budget, of course. After many years of prayer, God blessed Jim and Jayme with the perfect piece of land with breathtaking views. They had a vision and desire to provide the perfect location and ideal barn where wonderful memories are made. So, they searched the country for the perfect barn style, and confidently decided on the perfect equestrian design to house their dreams. At over 5,000 square feet, The Barn at Sunset Ranch opens its large barn doors and 4×4 windows to frame the magnificent views of Mount Princeton above the meadow. Three gables also top the pitched roof to welcome sunshine and starry skies. Jim and Jayme Greefiled love serving people and helping them create their dreams of a great party or beautiful wedding. Their heart is to bless the families who visit The Barn at Sunset Ranch and the marriages that begin here.
