Designed to sleep up to 32 guests in refined comfort, the property blends elevated design with the unparalleled luxury of unhurried time and effortless togetherness.

Availability: Open year round
Capacity: Sky Valley Chateau sleeps up to 32 guests on-site. Weddings may host up to 35 guests from mid-October through mid-May, and up to 50 guests from mid-May through mid-October.
Event Spaces: Outdoor ceremony and indoor/outdoor reception
Wedding Planner: Our basic wedding package includes guidance from the Sky Valley Chateau team with initial vendor recommendations. For couples seeking more comprehensive planning, we also offer in-depth planning packages at an additional cost. You’re also welcome to bring your own planner or coordinator if you prefer.

Curfews: All amplified outdoor music must end by 9:00 PM, and all guests must move indoors by 10:00 PM. Inside, however, the celebration can continue as late as you like.

Site Fee Starting At: For weekend weddings, a minimum four-night stay on the property is required. (Please reach out for pricing on weekday stays.) In addition, a wedding or special event fee applies to all bookings.

How did the venue become a wedding venue?
When David and Erica purchased Sky Valley Chateau in 2021, it was simply a beautiful mountain lodge they planned to share as a vacation rental. That first summer, one couple asked if they could host their wedding weekend on the property - and the experience changed everything. Watching family and friends gather under the aspens, celebrate across the weekend, and fill the home with laughter and connection revealed something special: Sky Valley Chateau was meant for more than just stays. Since then, the property has been thoughtfully transformed into Steamboat’s destination for elevated micro weddings and weekend-long celebrations - where couples can celebrate not just for a day, but for an entire weekend surrounded by the people they love most.
