An Interior Designer’s Enchanting Wedding in the Woods

“It was a chill and laid-back wedding day. The bride’s dream is to get married in the forest and out in the wood, with some level of comfort. The couple wanted to do a getaway with friends post-pandemic. Parents can’t attend due to travel restrictions. The day started with sleeping in in the morning, having brunch together and getting ready. First look, love letter, photoshoot in the woods. Prepped for the ceremony in the woods. The ring bearer was a dog that the couple is godparents of. The bride is a home staging designer and the couple met at work, so we incorporate her work into the set up that represents her. The cocktail reception was set up into a market place, the couple bought lots of gifts that they want to share with their friends, and each guest was given a shopping bag where they can shop their own wedding favours – home related items such as candles, calendars, snack,s and drinks. Lounge area in the glamping tent, they wanted to bring the outdoor vibe to the wedding. Dinner was family-style serving, unlike traditional dance party for the afterparty, there were games and activities to entertain the guests. The groom showed up in a dinosaur trek suit to surprise the guests. The night ended with group games and outdoor movie night, fun and intimate.”
