Sam, from Kansas, and Ashlee, from Utah, met in picturesque Teton Valley, Idaho the summer of 2019. Sam strolled into Ashlee’s salon, Salon Blaq, for a haircut. Sam caught sight of Ashlee while she was doing paperwork and told his barber that he needed to get connected with her. After persisting to get in touch, Ashlee and Sam’s love grew hot and hasn’t cooled down since. Sam and Ashlee at the time were both planning on moving out of the valley, but as they say, love brings the unexpected, they both decided to stay in Teton Valley and start a life together. They then sealed the deal the following winter and joined together for a summer wedding that next July. There’s no rulebook or guideline to marriage, but as Ashlee and Sam can testify, the first step is getting a dog. In their case, this would be a Corgi by the name of Hank. Little did Sam and Ashlee know that his simple haircut would then lead to a forever of memories and unconditional love.
