Purple Passion {loveland, colorado}

I'm LOVING the gorgeous purple and blue jewel tones in this wedding. Jewel tones are a big hit with brides right now and this bride shows you how it's done right. This beautiful, breezy wedding is a great example of how to pull of a light, airy event perfectly. Sarah Christine Photography did a fantastic job capturing all the details and the fun spirit of the event. Enjoy!

Black, White & Green Wedding {evanston, wyoming}

The theme here was inspired by the couples love for snowmobiling and hence, the famous Arctic Cat colors. I know these colors all too well from my days on a sled up in Minnesota. However, this color theme only added to the classy look and feel of this unique wedding held at the Historic Round House in Evanston, Wyoming. Happy Friday!

Thanks to Amanda Abel Photography for today's feature.

Spring Bliss {boulder country club, co}

Amanda and Scott naturally have a rare grace and elegance that captivated the entire wedding on a chilly Spring day in Colorado to create a gorgeous event. They are clearly a special couple, exemplified by their two month honeymoon traveling throughout southern Africa. As much as we want to go to southern Africa, we too would love springtime at the Boulder Country Club where this wedding took place. An amazing shoot courtesy of Christina Kiffney Photography.

From the Bride: "When I saw Boettcher it instantly set the mood for the entire wedding. We used earth tones (mainly moss greens, cream and browns) and rustic details that were still very romanticin feeling. For me, it was all about the details. My florist captured the setting perfectly and I tried to incorporate my own ideas around what she and I had envisioned. I added rustic white wooden table numbers as well as slices of thick branches with guests names and table numbers as escort cards. My florist created a wishing tree and I created dove shaped paper cut outs tied with twine for the guests to leave their own personal message for us (in lieu of a guest book). Jennifer Rice of Cakes by Request added texture to our white butter cream iced cake to mimic the trunk of a big birch tree. From Etsy.com I ordered a wooden cut-out cake topper which incorporated the birds on our wedding invitations. I was also inspired by the Arts and Crafts architecture used throughout Boettcher Mansion and decided to use a traditional Arts and Crafts font on our invitations and wedding programs. I know that a Rustic theme is used often in weddings across Colorado but by adding my own personal details I feel I was able to capture something truly unique."

Fabulous at the Phoenician {arizona}

Okay, just loving all this sunshine in this wedding. We know that some of the top sunshine states fall within our regions and Arizona is certainly one of them. This venue seems like it was made for weddings. The Phoenician Resort, has an onsite wedding planner, many different venues, honeymoon packages plus more. We will certainly be checking them out this spring on our trip to Arizona. Thanks to the talents at Foskett Creative Photography for sharing this gorgeous wedding with us. Much inspiration!

Wowwa in Kelowna - Friday Fun! {british columbia}

Ash and Melissa, from Calgary, called upon their friend at December Photography to meet them in Kelowna at the Manteo Resort in BC for this gorgeous wedding. In doing a little more digging, we discovered we need to visit this area... and soon. Manteo Resort is minutes from championship golf and award-winning estate wineries and only an hour from powder skiing at Big White and Silver Star, Manteo Resort Waterfront Hotel and Villas is the premier Okanagan Lake resort destination. Need we say more?

Now we know why December Photography was so excited to travel home to Kelowna... Wowwa for sure!

We love the staged group images and think it is always important to have fun with those group shots... they become more memorable!

Rustic Summer Fun at Arosa Guest Ranch - {british columbia}

As RMB plans their next year's photo shoots, BC is on the list of places to stop. In doing all this research, I have found so many wonderful places that are both on and off the regular path. We continue to share some of the best venues, so enjoy this rustic summer gem photographed by Element Photography.

Mitch and Michelle selected Arosa Guest Ranch to host their wedding celebration. Fritz estates(the former property of his grandfather - lovingly remembered as Bumpa) surrounds the ranch area. We took advantage of Bumpa's property for Mitch and Michelles first look! Photos wrapped up just as rain drops started to sprinkle. Just a tease though, as the sky cleared up for a bright and beautiful outdoor ceremony. But mother nature can be crazy and wasn't quiet finished with us just yet! everyone was tucked away in teh white tent surrounded by gorgeous details. Tables were full with plates of delicious warm food as the sky opened up and the rain showers came down. Propane heaters were lit, guest changed out of summery dresses and into their tights, woolies, camo and plaid. We cuddled up under blankets and listened to the stories of Mitch and Michelle shared by wedding party and parents. They were roasted and toasted and laughter filled the tent! It was just before the speeches began the sky cleared momentarily and a bright beam of sunlight pierced through the clouds. ah! a perfect double rainbow arched over the valley for all to see. A sign of a promise for the newlyweds! M + M ran out into the sunlight and shared a little dance, and a little love as the cameras fired away!
