Many moons ago Mark and I were invited to a friend's day-time wedding. I can't recall the specifics of why we were late to the friend's nuptuals, but we were. What I do remember is walking in the front door as the bride was just taking her first step down the aisle. Based on my experience, here's a few ideas to keep late comers from dampening your day.

A co-worker of mine recently returned from her sister's wedding, and in gossiping - er, talking - about the details, the subject of undergarments came up. Specifically, bras. More specifically, the lack of the right one to go with the dress she wore to the ceremony, resulting in constant tugging to keep the Barely There barely in place.

As you interview wedding planners, include “May I see your tool kit?” on the list of questions. Sure, it’s a little personal, but the relationship with your planner is going to be nearly as intimate as the one with your fiancé. If you are not going to use a planner, I suggest you get to the nearest Target and load up on some essentials. Over the last seven years, I have learned the wedding tool kit can be the answer to just about any prayer.
