Snow Canyon State Park Styled Shoot

Snow Canyon Styled Shoot // Desert Glam

January 9, 2017

By Rocky Mountain Bride

The inspiration behind the shoot from the photographer, Tiffany of Tiffany Sangster Photography: When people think desert they think rustic, Southwestern, or boho, all these are great, but I wanted to incorporate black because it can be become something spectacular. Once the dress was chosen, next came the models, I wasn't looking for just another pretty face; I was looking for someone who was in love. I found newlyweds, Jessica and Michael, and knew they would be the perfect couple. When it came to décor, flowers, and location, I wanted to incorporate black but not have it as the main focus. Bold colors are a great way to incorporate that extra something to any kind of wedding or venue. Bliss Rentals and Jocelyn Floral designed a perfect tablescape; the china, glassware, flower lanterns, and sequence tablecloth gave it a glamorous feel. Southern Utah is famous for the red rocks that surround this gorgeous area we call home, yet it just wasn't right for this shoot. I wanted a location with tons natural beauty, and the white rocks on the outskirts of Snow Canyon were beyond perfect with its bold view and white sand that surrounds the area.
