Their story from the bride, Alyssa: Jordan grew up in Plano, TX, graduated from Texas A&M and had been working as a stock analyst in Dallas for 4 years. I went to college at TCU and have been a neonatal ICU nurse in Ft Worth for 3 years. We were introduced by Jordan's younger brother and best man. He and Jordan are very close, and he had a feeling we might hit it off. We both love God, and this has been the solid foundation on which our relationship thrives. We met up for brunch for our first date, and later that day Jordan ended up joining my roommates and I at a local brewery. We both could tell from the very beginning we were smitten. We dated for 5 months, and then Jordan proposed in front of an infamous Fort Worth skyline with a friend hiding in the bushes to capture the moment on film. The surprise didn't end there, we celebrated together with a champagne toast at a local wine bar, and then ended the evening at a surprise engagement party with our family and friends. We quickly decided we wanted to marry in the mountains. Telluride, Colorado is about the best you can get when it comes to dreamy mountain towns. We both had never actually been there before, so we were able to experience the town together as we planned and quickly fell in love. Everything came together for a simple morning wedding with a brunch reception at Allred's restaurant. We spent the weekend with 70 of our closest friends and family, got married surrounded by the San Juan mountains, and then fled to Mexico for our honeymoon. We have been married 8 months now and love every part about it. Jesus continues to be our rock and our hope, we are so grateful to God for His good and perfect plans. We just added a golden doodle puppy named Brody to our family, and have plans to travel back to Telluride in the fall.
