The Day

I think it would be impossible for me to pick just one favourite part of the day... it really was one of the best day's of our lives and we enjoyed it all so much from start to finish! We both agree that having all our family and friends in one place celebrating with us while getting to enjoy the Canadian Rocky Mountains was a definite highlight. Being from Ontario, it was the first time many of our guests had been to Canmore or anywhere in the Rocky Mountains. Most of them stayed for a few days around our wedding and it was really special to watch them enjoy some of the winter activities the town and area has to offer. As part of our wedding planning we researched Canmore area winter activities and included the information on our wedding website, along with our own personal favourites from around town. We found doing that was a really fun part of wedding planning and helped our guests enjoy the Canmore area as much as we do. One piece of advice I would give to Rocky Mountain Brides is don't underestimate the weather if planning a winter wedding and be prepared, but remember regardless if it's sunny, snowing, minus 20 or anything in-between; it makes the mountains special and the photos will be amazing no matter what, so try not to worry about it leading up to the big day!!
